CPC31320 - CERTIFICATE III IN WALL AND FLOOR TILING

This qualification provides a trade outcome in wall and floor tiling for residential and commercial construction work.
The course structure includes 62 weeks of study, 18 weeks of work placement and 14 weeks of holidays.

Mode of Study: Mixed Mode Delivery – Practical sessions, face-to-face workshops and self-paced workbooks

Recognition:

• Australian Qualification Framework (AQF)
• Tiling and or Building License with: Queensland Building and Construction Commission (QBCC)

Assessments: These courses include written projects/assignments, observations of practical tasks and/or group tasks.

*White Card (CPCCWHS1001 – Prepare to work safely in the construction industry) included in Resources Fee

Pathway: Upon completion of this qualification, students can continue their studies with a CPC40110 Certificate IV in Building and Construction ( Building)

Reassessment: Students can have three reassessments of NYC (Not Yet Competent) free of charge provided that the submission of assessments has been done on time. Further, if a student fails more than three times in the unit, the student will have to repeat that unit and charges will be AUD$350.00 per unit (GST will not be charged).

Eligibility/ Entry requirements:

All applicants must be over 18 years of age
Academic equivalent – Year 10 +
Upper-Intermediate English skills
Literacy, Language and Numeracy test designed by GIC
IELTS 6.0+ (if required)
Certificate III units are pre-requisite to Certificate IV

All students must have the Personal Protection Equipment on their first day of class:
· Steel cap boots
· Safety glasses
· Hearing protection
