CPC30620 - CERTIFICATE III IN PAINTING AND DECORATING

This qualification equips individuals with essential skills for success in the painting and decorating industry. Covering surface preparation, painting techniques, decorative skills, and safety regulations, it provides a solid foundation for aspiring professionals. Our college offers this program, ensuring students receive comprehensive training from experienced instructors. The course duration is 94 weeks, allowing ample time for thorough learning and skill development.

• Australian Qualification Framework (AQF)
• Tiling and or Building License with: Queensland Building and Construction Commission (QBCC)

–  Licensing, legislative and regulatory or certification requirements for painting and decorating work differ between States and Territories. Please consult with the relevant regulatory authority.

– This qualification is suitable for an Australian Apprenticeship pathway.

–  Completion of the general construction induction training program, specified in the Safe Work Australia model Code of Practice: Construction Work, is required by anyone carrying out construction work.

Assessments: This course include written projects/assignments, intermediate computer skills essential.

Pathway: Upon completion of this qualification, students can continue their studies with a

• CPC50210 Diploma of Building and Construction (Building)
• CPC30212 Advanced Diploma of Building and Construction (Management)

Reassessment: Students can have three reassessments of NYC (Not Yet Competent) free of charge provided that the submission of assessments has been done on time. Further, if a student fails more than three times in the unit, the student will have to repeat that unit and charges will be AUD$350.00 per unit (GST will not be charged).

Eligibility/ Entry requirements:

All applicants must be over 18 years of age
Academic equivalent – Year 10 +
Upper-Intermediate English skills
Literacy, Language and Numeracy test designed by GIC
IELTS 6.0+ (if required)
Intermediate Computer Skills are essential
